Matt Hauser is a percussionist, educator, and composer from Fort Collins, CO. He currently serves as the Percussion Director at Fossil Ridge High School. Matt’s marching history began at Dakota Ridge High School in 2012 and included stints with BKPE, Rise Percussion, The Battalion, Oregon Crusaders, and the Colorado State University Marching Band. He graduated from CSU in 2019 with a bachelor’s degree in Percussion Performance and again in 2021 with a Master of Music. He has taught marching percussion with high schools and independent groups since 2016 and concert percussion in the middle and high school classroom since 2021. The 25/26 season will be Matt’s fourth season as Front Ensemble Caption Head at BKPE.
